He's my portion, and He's worth it all.

These peonies... I'm going to leave them here to remind myself of a few things. Sometimes we need to preach the truth to our hearts.

I am loved. I am seen. He is in the details. He's my portion, and He's worth it all. He's not holding out on me. I don't have to earn His favor. I'm learning valuable lessons. His ways and timing are perfect. He is preparing for me what He has already planned for me. He is always worthy of praise... especially when He gives a bouquet of peonies that weren’t supposed to be. These beauties bloomed the week before Mother's Day and faded away yesterday, a full week after.

Are you in a place of waiting? Take heart, friend. God has a plan. A hope. A future. Seek Him. Surrender to Him. Trust Him. Obey Him. Say yes to Him. And know there is rich purpose in the wait. “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14
