Mighty words of waiting

A friend came by one recent afternoon and gave me this really sweet gift... small squares with mighty words of waiting. AND I LOVE IT! There's 50 cards with bible verses on each one, front and back, and a little wooden stand. I've lost count of how many times I've been encouraged as I stand at my kitchen window where it sits.

God has been so good to me in this wait... sending His love through others in the way of phone calls, texts, prayers, cards, and thoughtful gestures. Without a doubt I am a gracious recipient of the comfort mentioned in 2 Cor 1:3-4, and I'm so thankful for all of you who have been a part of that and continue to be. You are dearly treasured, family and friends.

All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. (2 Cor 1:3-4 MSG)
