Waiting is so hard. Fear and doubt threaten to rip confidence right out of our hands, and with it our joy and praise too. God hears us when we call and He's everything we need in the day of trouble... light for the darkness, safety from the flood, mercy in the chokehold, goodness in the barren land. I want to be a woman that helps restore confidence in God's listening ears and rock solid arms. I want be a woman who stands with others in the valley and points to the secret path of praise. If strength in the wait and courage for the journey rise at the altar of joyful shouts and songs, let me be the first to sing.

The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe... and set me high upon a rock. At His tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (Ps 27:1, 5-6, 13-14)
